I have used blocks so the jacks are not extended so far.The futher there extended,the more chance for play in them.

I have bigfoot leveler's on my Class C. The guy from BigFoot recommends (and uses) something called BigFoot Outrigger pads (different company altogether). You can see them at outriggerpads.com. They are super heavy duty and come in various thicknesses. They don't post the price, so I'm scared to ask

I use 2x6s for the tongue jack and blocks for the stab jacks because on dirt, they provide a solid surface. It also helps with sandy soil, minimizing shifting.

I have left a CG where they wanted me to put blocks under my jacks. I can't get down that low on purpose and if I do get there I can't get back up. My jacks do great to keep me level and I just push the button.
