I know the general area. My parents moved to Fallbrook after they retired from the Seaside, OR area. My brother and his wife lived in Oceanside for awhile and I went down there fairly often to visit.

Looks like it's going to be a nice weekend around here. Going to go out later and finish up fixing the fence (no more digging though).

Finally got our trailer back from the shop. The new slide-out motor is a bit slower and a lot quieter. Looks like everything is back together just fine. We sure don't want/need any more water leaks. Going to start packing up the rally stuff to make sure we have it all together.

Bigdog, better get some earplugs.

Got a real basic, dump electrical question. If I flip the switch and nothing happens, I'm stuck, so please don't make too much fun of me!!

We've go the rig parked out in front of our house down here in Sun City (temps getting back into the high 80's & low 90's again!) loading it up to start getting ourselves back to the "wet side." I've plugged it into the electrical outlet at the front of the house and I am getting a reverse polarity reading on my indicator that I have inside the rig. I even tried the outlet in the garage and get the same. Brought the indicator into the house and no problem there. Even switched extension cords.

My question is - will I do any damage to the electrical circuits in the rig if I leave it plugged in? Really just want to turn the frig on Tues. and get it cooled down and use the vacum cleaner to vacum the rugs. It seems like I remember that it could damage electronics, but not sure of that.

Thanks for the info. I think I know who I will hear from first!

With reversed polarity, some electronics will have an issue. So will some electro-mechanical devices as the motors will try to run backwards.

Think of all those plugs with one prong wider than the other to prevent reversed polarity. I'd say get it fixed. For some reason the outlet on the house is mis-wired..

Happy Birthday to both of you...Sitting here in Yuma, its 100 today and the next four are 101, 103, 102, 100. It is kinda warm. Have one more appointment with the doctor here next week and then we will head for home. I am real tired of doctors. On a good note we are very much enjoying having our own place here in Yuma, it certainly cuts down on the hassle of renting....

John, Bigdog, Mopargo, I came as close as I ever have to tipping over this last week. Everyone on the jeep run is still talking about how close it was and how they do not understand why I did not go over. I left a hicky mark on my jeep seat for sure....
