If the Rangers like us, we will be here until Halloween, we are at the KOA across from Ft. Stevens campground entrance in site I-8 (I-ate - southerner likes that). We are in a Tamarack Trail .. same one we took to Rally this past May. - We work Sat., Sun, and Monday at Ft. Clatsop Visitor Center. - We stopped at Dooger's tonight for a light supper - more exploring this next week on free days.
Looks like we are staying thru October, haven't looked at the schedule beyond this Saturday yet, so don't know yet what days we work ..
We definitely have to be back in SE Washington the first week of November .. it is in the 90s back in SE Washington, so we are enjoying the cool - windbreaker weather down here ..

Don't know if anyone is interested, but colleen and I will be going to the Pasco Balloon festival the weekend of the 24, and 25th.
Wine Country was full and would only take three day reservations so we got a space just down the road about 1/4 mile (actually backs up to the main launch site at the airport) at a place called "The Barn".
Should be fun, and I will probably be walking up the wine country to see what it looks like as I missed out on the earlier group visit.

Just got back from a great stay in site 340 at Point Hudson. The weather was pretty good and we did some shopping and walking around the lower town. Had hotdogs at the hotdog place and took home some ice cream bars from the ice cream store. Hobo,you missed out on the ice cream..
John,sorry to hear about your dad and good that he was able to be there for and not suffer. That was pretty much the way my mom went,but she was sedated at the end,but not enuff that she wasn't there at all,just kinda running under the surface. We figgered that she was responding to some of the stories I was telling my son and my niece from Pakistan about our lives growing up as shw squeezed Koki's hand a number of times.
Tradewinds,I guess we'll have to get together by ourselves for coffee...give me a time.

Sorry we couldn't make it,but it seems as if Tradewinds is at the Drs having something done and I had to work this AM...
On another subject,we are looking to upgrade phones and I'm looking at a Bionic Droid for verizon and wanted to know if they do what they say they do and does anyone have a better idea..Jeanne just neeeds a good phone so she can text and play games.The button on her ENv 2 has a big groove on it from game playing.
