It would be pretty hard to beat the great weather we had the last time we were in Oregon for the Rally...We steamed open over 200 oysters on the grill that rally and they went as fast as I could get them off the grill. A few months later the bottom of my new BBQ rusted out, I forgot to rinse out the bottom after all that salt.

Uh Oh....Seafood and wine are a couple of my favorite foods..I did several kinds of shrimp there also. The first rally there,we had BBQ turkey and I think it was hot enuff outside, that I took the tops of the Webers and cooked it in the sun..I also remember that it was REALLY hot that second time we were there.
I'm still in.....

Ron, sorry about your pup, I am sitting here just days away from doing the same thing with sonny, he turned 16 this year, thats old for a chessie. My heart is breaking and he is still with me. Another year and we missed another one....our poor coach has not rolled a tire in two years, life sure does get in the way....I make no promises, but we will try to get that way if it is held there in Oregon. We miss each and every one of you, there were some great times and I am sure there will be more. Bob, take care of your self and tell cousin hi for me.

Hey we'd be glad to see you there..There is the Commanders Inn,a B&B, right at the end of the row at thecampground. There is also the Swan Hotel at the end of the main street near the marina and the Tides Inn, where the infamous scene from an Officer and a Gentleman was filmed.
Just thinkin' and that's always dangerous where I'm concerned.
Mebbee we should shift this thing over to the new thread...
Hey guys...lets get on track and make sure we have wagon masters and a place to hold the rally next year. If we wait to long we won't be able to get the week we want etc.
We need to start a new post for 2013..........
So far, lots of discussion on going back to McMinnville. Laura found one over in Warden she thinks looks promising, but we don't know if/when we would be able to check it out. Okay, to the other thread ====>>>
