The outside shower that is on our 5er leaves a lot be desired. It leaks constantly. I do not ever see anyone in our family using that thing to actually "shower" mostly just get sand off the feet etc.

So I would like to replace that "shower" with one of the quick connect water hoses like I have in our outside kitchen. It looks like a normal faucet but you can take a hose and plug it in and it turns into a water hose.

Any idea where I could find the replacement appliance? Anyone done this?

I don't think I've ever seen ANYONE use it to shower. Most use it only to squirt the dog or sometimes wash muddy feet. YOu can do both of those things more easily by just installing a Y connection at the faucet (when camping with campground water source). No real reason to involve the trailer at all. Dogs don't LIKE warm water and feet usually don't care

so with that I should be able to just take off the hose that is currently there and put this part on there.

wonder if that is something I could find at lowes/home depot etc

I hear you, and understand you, but I hate to have a faucet in there that is "not usable" If you turn the water on, the head leaks BADLY. So I would like to replace it with something I could at least use if I wanted to aka to spray out the sewer hoses etc. No point in replacing it with another one that doesnt do what I want.

Found this guy here

clicky for faucet

Looks a lot like the one I have in the outside kitchen. Now I just need to see if it will be a swap out or if there are going to be trim issues.

Hi All.

Correct or not. Some people actually use thier outside showers when Boon-Docking when no one else is around. It really saves on filling up your Gray Tank so fast. Which could extend your Boon-Docking time. Wouldn't change ours for anything else, except for what it was intended for. Each to thier own. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill
