We made reservations at Difficult campground site #2 for June 17 & 18.
The campground says tight radius turns and narrow roads. Anyone familiar with this campground? We have a 1/2 ton Nissan and 25 ft TT
I can't answer about that specific site, but you should have no problems with the interior roads themselves. We used to have a 20' HTT and had no problems at all. The biggest issue might be the entry road. There are a couple of narrow spots where it's tough to pass, but you can see far enough ahead to wait if someone is on that section of road. Of course they might have widened it in the last couple of years.

While there be sure to hike up into the Bells and to Drive over Independence Pass to Twin Lakes -- if the pass is open by then.
Beautiful area -- Think about Marble and Redstone if you travel on Rt 133 after Aspen -- Don't forget about the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP.
Really hard to drive down the wrong road in this part of the country.

Thanks, I will take your recomendation. We do a lot of camping in National Forests and Parks and some older campgrounds are pretty limited in the RV length that they will acomodate easily. That, coupled with my limited driving skills can cause problems.
We will be passing through Glenwood Springs, and looking foreward to spending a few days in Aspen.
If a 25 foot trailer can't get in it must be basically a tent campground. doubt if you'll have any problems. Narrow roads would CERTAINLY not be an issue since all trailers are pretty close to the same width.
