Hi!
I asked previously, but finally have a picture so I thought a new post was in order. Can anyone tell what brand this baseplate is? Or is there a different angle/shot I can take to assist? Any other ways to figure this out?

This is on a '96 RAV4 if that makes any difference.
Thanks!

I added a couple more pics - and detail about the car - a '96 RAV4 (2 door).
Thanks!

Okay, so I think the Unified system is just a brake system and then I would buy any tow bar that worked for my base plate. The ReadyBrute Elite is a tow bar + surge break in one, so I would need the right ends to fit a Roadmaster.

Yep, I agree - it looks the most like a Roadmaster 1142-1. I also searched for install directions for a 96 RAV4 at BlueOx and Demco since I kind of thought they'd all be the same. Not so...BlueOx and Demco definitely seem a lot different as it looks as though there is a bar that runs all the way across the front. Ours definitely doesn't have anything like that, we just see one of those receiver on each side.

We don't have the pieces labeled C & D on the pdf enblethen linked to. Not sure how this all works yet, but we're leaning toward either the ReadyBrute Elite or Unified Tow Brake, so I'm guessing it will depend on the tow bar we purchase whether we need those two pieces.

Thanks for the help!

I don't know about the ReadyBrute, but my Unified brake system doesn't have anything at all to do with my roadmaster base plate (or tow bar for that matter).... and i agree with others...yours does look like a roadmaster.
