I am looking for any information good or bad about Lake View RV Resort in Houston, TX. Lots, wifi, clubhouse, environment, people, nearby towns etc. Are there alligators in their lakes? Or is it safe to kyak or let dogs swim?
I've stayed there. I would hardly call it a "resort". It's a nice clean campground with a pond in the middle in an industrial part of Houston. It is the only nice campground I know of that is handy to downtown Houston and the sports complex.

I've checked it out, as it is a more quite place to park an RV than the one just outside the 610 loop, if one is going to Houston Medical Center. I wouldn't call it a "resort" even though other parks with similar facilities are called "resort." Those, however, are often on a lake or by the sea, this one is just a big fenced in lot on the south side of Houston, to serve people with business at Reliance or the medical center. It is not a resort destination.
I suppose that calling it RV Resort is to make it clear that the place is not a campground, it is for parking RVs only, no camping.
The way it is fenced, it is unlikely that there will be alligators in the borrow pit. It might have fish in it, if connected to the area drainage, as there are tilapia wild in the bayous, escapees from fish farms.
I figured out what it costs to drive a motorhome down and stay there, versus driving a car and staying at a hotel, for 3-5 day checkup visits. The hotel wins, even if I fly. And on the 2-3 week trips for the wife's surgeries, I'd rather be closer to the hospital than the Lakeview location.
