Jim Tewell secured another great sponsor, Max Air, watch for their logo and link on the sponsor tab.
We have had interest in only 5 T-shirts so at this point we will not be having them made for the Rally.
Finally, still 9 units registered that have not sent in their refundable Rally fees, they are due at the end of this month so that we will have an accurate count to start contracting with our food and entertainment vendors before we leave on vacation.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone and feel free to post here whenever you want.
Reservations at Woodside will begin on January 4, 2012 at Woodside Lake Park for those who have paid their Rally Fees. There may be times you will have to leave a message for your reservation as the park will not be open and you will be instructed to call the owners cell phone. Details regarding the reservations will be posted here on or about January 2, 2012. If you have not sent your Rally fees in and still plan on attending, please remit as soon as possible, they were due today. We began reserving vendors for food today and could only give them a head count based on those who have paid. Again, we are leaving for a winter vacation shortly after the holidays and have to get everything locked up before we leave.
Thanks for cooperating and we look forward to seeing everyone at Woodside.
There have been a couple of inquiries from those that have paid their registration fees with concern that their check had not been received due to notices about unpaid registration fees. Click here for an updated attendees list. If your name is not in red, your registration fee has been received and you are good to go.
Update. We have another unit registered, #41. Lynne has updated the program, click on the program tab at b-rally.org to view it. You'll notice that we're taking a break from Snacho this year and replacing it with an entertainer that requires audience participation and that's why we are starting the cocktail hour early.
We need a few volunteers. Project #1 would be to take care of the coffee for the Rally, everything will be there in the Rally Room and we'll need someone who likes to get up early.
#2 would be help in getting the room ready for meals and events, and light cleaning afterwards
#3 would be helping with registration and welcome kits.
#4 would be a photographer for the group photo
There are probably going to be other things that we'll need help with but can't think of them right now.
We're still shooting for tomorrow as the start of reservations, but haven't confirmed it with Woodside yet, they still aren't back from the holidays. I'll post again as soon as I get it set up, might be the end of the week before I can talk with them. This is the last chance for the six registered units listed in red on the attendees list to get your refundable Rally fees to us. We will not be receiving mail between Jan. 17th and April 1, so we'll have no way of knowing if you sent them in during that period and therefore will not be able to give Woodside the OK to accept your reservations until we get back home in April.
OK, Reservations are now being accepted at Woodside for those who have paid their Rally fees. Please call them at 866-241-0492, you can select your site from the map shown on b-rally.org. There are 4 sites, 60, 61, 62, and 63 that are very near to the activities room being held for anyone who has a issue requiring minimal walking, simply ask for one of those sites.
Also, our Canadian friends attending the Rally are exempt from pre-paying their Rally fees as our bank wants to charge us a fee to cash their checks, they will be paying in cash when arriving at the Rally. If any of you are not going to be able to attend the Rally, please call us well in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
