We head out tomorrow night to Lake Leelenau RV Park in northern Michigan. We're hopeful we can make a trip to Sleeping Bear dunes. Open to other suggestions of places to visit.
We typically don't stay at private parks, so we'll see... Happy camping!

Everyone take care if camped along the streams and rivers… the ground is so saturated in so many places the current is swift, water is at or topping the banks even a light rain can cause flash flooding…
Make sure the kids are aware of the dangers and be safe all…

Heading down to Russian River Campground in Alaska. Already have the Kayaks on the truck, waiting for my wife to get home and we are out the door! Parents already have the Class C on the road, time to play catch up!

And for motivation here is a picture of Cook Inlet near Girdwood Alaska taken about 15 minutes ago!

My sister, BIL, and their family live in Anchorage. Sis and BIL now spend some time in AZ. They're currently here in IL right now, helping me with our elderly mom.

I've been by that inlet many times. I don't remember the CG they used to go to, but I caught some awesome salmon there. Beautiful scenery.

Not as exciting as some others, but we are on our maiden voyage at a very local campground (30 minute drive). So far so good, but it has been raining since we got here... I installed the weight distributing hitch and dual cam sways this morning/afternoon and set the brake controller on the way. I forgot to get the propane tanks filled (dumb) and the heater is acting up, but other than that I guess we're doing well.
