I have heard you can replace the screw type latches for the bunk ends with a swing type? Looking for a place to buy them.

all you have to do is look for any hybrid built after 2005 and they all should have this type of cargo latch.
just look up any hybrid for sale or their manufacturers' websites for pics.
they've been the standard since at least 2004 or 2005.

Those are only part of it. You need the bars as well.

The latches comes from Fastec Industrial.
Phone number: 1-800-837-2505
Ask for Felicity (Flip) Miller
Part numbers:
65004-100 (cargo vise bar lock handle)
65006-100 (Bar lock)
You will need 4 of each
Ask to have them white powder coated, and keyed alike ( they're all lockable, so by being keyed alike, one key will unlock all 4 )
Here's a link from Jason Tupper(he's on RV forum)with pictures on how he installed them:
http://good-times.webshots.com/album/565931085RsGZgF
It cost me $75.15 including shipping. My local RV store was asking $200.00 and they come from the same place (Fastec)
You will need bolts and nuts and etc etc, which you will have to get from your local hardware store.
Good Luck

When installing the bars and lock do both pieces need to be at the same level? It seems no matter how I would mount that I will have some slop and Im unsure that they will put enough pressure to seal the bunk. I have only held them in place so far. I dont want to drill holes until I fully understand it will work. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you.
