A vote for the Lake Placid (Whiteface) KOA. Stayed for a week last year and it was a dream...just perfect. Gorgeous campground under a canopy of trees. We adored it...and my newly 4 year old still brings up his gondola ride up Whiteface once a week...stuff memories are made of. I adore everything ADKs as I spent my childhood in a tiny hamlet outside Lake Placid and still consider it "home".

Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!
