How many of you remove the cornices from your RV? Overall I don't mind the look of them, but the one at the booth dinette takes up 4" of valuable real estate when 4 people are dining or playing games. I thought about taking it off entirely but the two roller shades are affixed to it.
So I'm thinking about lifting the fabric, sawing off the sides (on an angle that follows the curve of the top part), and then stapling the trimmed) fabric back on the underside.
