I got an email from Good Sam today with news of a nice new benefit. As a member you can get a $5 coupon for any Good Sam park at anytime. This is in addition to the 10% discount already offered. Not a lot, but it is nice to see a tangible benefit added to the program. I printed one for my upcoming Niagara trip at the Jellystone park at the end of this month.

Well, it still doesn't come close to Passport America discounts, but it brings it $5 closer. Thanks for the info.

Yes, BUT most GS parks are nicer than too many PA parks... IMHO!

I couldn't find any details on the offer. Is it a one time only $5 coupon?

Looks like you have to register your e-mail to get the deal.

That's probably why they are doing it--save on junk mail costs.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

It is not a one-time coupon. You can print one for any trip to any GS park in addition to the 10% off offer.

We have Passport America also, but it typically has conditions and limitations applied to its use and we can't always use it. When I can't, I'll go with our Good Sam, and yes that extra 5 bucks off is really appreciated.

Looks like the expiration date changes daily. Coupon is only good for 30 days. If the program is still in effect, I will print a coupon in late July to cover August travel. I guess they did it this way to be able to pull the plug at any time and only be 30 days out.

Wonder why they didn't mention this aspect of the offer?

I hope the date changes because thay talk about the future but the coupon expires on July 20th. Maybe only good 30 days in advance. I'll check tomorrow and see if the expiration date has changed to the 21st of July. I am planning a late August trip.
