The TT dealer installed a TEKONSHA brake controller on my truck when I purchased the new R Vision.
Incidentally, I am also very unhappy with the shoddy workmanship of this trailer !!!!!!!!!
I am looking forward to the time when the Japanese start to manufactuer travel trailers for sale in this country.

The Prodigy P2 and P3 everyone is raving about is made by Tekonsha, so not sure what your next move is  . Brake Controllers

The cheap one the chevy dealer installed in my truck is made by Tekonsha, it's an Envoy (I didn't even see it on their website, they must be ashamed of it)

Ahh that explains it, mfg's sometimes make lower models of their products for dealer install, of course they charge a pretty penny for it.

P2 Prodigy is what I use. plug it in and it tells you the rest.I tow 4800 lbs with a F150 and she stop with no problem.

I got a Prodigy P3 a couple of days ago, bought my tow dolly yesterday hooked it all up no problem. I like the troubleshooting screen on the P3.

Tekonsha Prodigy P3 (also the Draw-tite branded model) is the best one out there bar none. It also comes with a lifetime warranty that includes replacement even if you break it. I know from experience lol.
