Keep the one you have
The most trouble free MH is the one that the Previous owner got all the bugs fixed

No one is talking about getting the bugs out.The ones we are talking about are manufacturing issues and lack of quality controll etc so OP was wondering which unit may be the lessor of both evils
there will always be little bugs in every product that a person buys and there usually easy to rectify

My freightliner XC chassis has been trouble free (sorta) since I've owned it 7 yrs. Had to change coolant surge tank and a wire disconnected on my amp guage and ABS once. Thats it! The coach stuff is like all the other brands, "What is it Now"?!

anything, and i do mean anything, with the name airstream, on it is the best you can get if you dont want to fork out $2,000,000 for a prevost show coach. solid aluminum frames (no wood), real leather, raised panel solid oak cabinets...need i say more. make it a dp from the 80s to 2006 and find out how good it can really be. very few, if any, people on this site have ever owned one. very hard to find in the moho category but definitely worth the search. there are a sh..load of chevys out there. there are VERY few rolls royces.

Bukib, too bad they had to go and ruin their reputation by selling out to Thor. Now there are no rolls-royces, and probably not even any chevys.

Bugs, broken items, warranty fixes,
The most trouble free is the coach several years old that's already had them all " shook out " and fixed
Although Travel Supreme and Foretravel are both very highly regarded by their owners

All kidding aside - we purchased a new 2010 Newmar Canyon Star Class A 1 1/2 years ago. Love the Newmar quality and value we received for what we have (paid $116,000 new-MSRP $156,000).
We had several issues and my chief complaint was either the factory or especially the dealer could have and should have caught and corrected them before delivery to us.
Having said that I think all any of us can hope for is a manufacture that will take care of any issues and do it willingly and right the first time. We live in northern IL and purchased the unit from a dealer in FL (long story) but because of no close local dealer we dealth directly with the Newmar factory in IN which worked out great.
Frustrating for us to have issues on what we felt was such an expensive purchase (low price compared to most Class A's) but at least Ndewmar did everything they could to get things repaired under warranty and even offered to have someone drive it back and forth for us if we wanted that -and paid for some fuel expense too.
What I would do from our learning experience is what most reputable dealers offer and that is to come and stay in your rig for several days on the dealer's lot to make sure everything does indeed work properly and so unlike us, you aren't on a trip several states away before you realize the dealer or factory missed something during their set up.
When our kids are grown and we get closer to retirement we are hoping to purchase a much higher end unit and if we do spend $300-$400K on a new unit we certainly will approach that differently. We will want a several day use at the dealership and then plan for a few items to be corrected and then take a short trip as another shake down and be ready for another correction visit to the dealer or factory. Newmar as you already know has hook ups at their factory as many others do just for that purpose.
Outside of that someone told us once that he would never again buy a brand new RV. Only slightly used units just because he knows all the bugs have been worked out by the original owner. Interesting viewpoint and has some validity I guess.
Good luck and I guess you have to go into it with the mindset it won't be perfect and unlike most expensive high end cars made you will need a few trips to the dealer or factory before it's all 100% right.

Well, if you are just looking for reasonably good experiences, ours has been very good. Pretty much trouble free experience as far as the coach and chassis. Went through a couple fuel pumps before we found a decaying set of fuel lines. Overall good experience.
Good luck.

I will break with the line of thought they have a 10 year coach used, at campers world for sale the most trouble free coach would be a coach that looks good and is about 8 to 20 years old with 50,000 miles on it from a person who had the money to take care of the problems and does not have any slides and brand new tires for a top of the line you are talking $50,000 or lessor or much higher which means you could put $5.000 for new carpet and seats and still get great comments when you pull into a campground. they made them or make them. Bluebird ,Newell, Barth ,Country coach and others also must be a pusher coach. that is my opinion alone and no others
