Here's the skinny. Assuming we can sell our Endura at some point, afford a new truck, and get my son through college, we've decided to go for a Lance 1191 truck camper. We recently cleaned out the Endura and discovered how much stuff we don't really need. While at the dealer the other day we took the time to figure out where to put what in the Lance and the only question was the grill. It's a Weber Q (I think the medium sized one) and can't figure out where to put it. We do have a utility trailer that we'll take sometimes but not all the time. Suggestions?

RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.
I don't know about a Weber Q. We use one of the cheapie WalMart specials (when it burns out, we trash it). I used to keep one in a Rubbermaid tote box. The current grill has bounced from NC to NM to TX and back to NM bungie corded to the Hitchhaul on the back of the Class C. Although that is not a safe place for a grill. I lost a cheap grill off the Hitchhaul while parked at a Wal-Mart. I was only in the store for about 30 minutes if that long... and they took my cheap DollarTree bungie cords as well!
The link above will lead you to some photos of my mods to the lance...
As you can see we like to store the weber on the rear deck. The rack it is on is where we store the fire wood.

On the trailer is a great place to carry the grille, fire wood, extra propane, water, gas, chairs, bikes, etc etc. In lieu of a trailer, a hitch mounted cargo carrier can carry some of those things. The carrier can go in front or rear hitches, or both.
We carry ours in a bag on the floor of the back seat area of my truck. We fold up the rear seats. But I like the idea of putting it in the shower area.
