Friday afternoon/night we'll be at MCLB Albany for celebrations and sky lighting. The rest of the weekend will be available to work on the trailer. It's really too hot for us to camp down here. We're gearing up for September through November then March through May next year.

Be using the bus as a Hdqs for our AMVETS Post 300 at Red White and Boom, hoping to recruit new members and have a fun day for members families and friends. Be 500,000 people there for festival and fireworks display. Anybody in Columbus area stop by Vets and have a chat.

We are in the blackhills of sd and will be out searching for a good firework show since Mt Rushmore canceled theirs 10 months ago.
Any tips on the best in the area... I am all ears.

I'm a volunteer at Clear Lake State Park last week and this week. I was a host last year and decided to just volunteer as needed this year. Tied down too much last year and missed a lot of activities with some groups that I belong to. The rest of the summer is mine, at least until Labor day.

We'll be at Four Paws Kingdom in Rutherfordton, NC It is a campground that's dedicated to dogs with several fenced in off leash areas, pond, agility courses and much more. Nice peaceful spot!

we will be in Pigeon Forge TN @ Ripplin waters. for 3 days before the 4th. Husband and I are taking our motorcycles for some back roads riding!

Seriously, folks, we really, really need to stop putting up threads like this before every holiday, encouraging folks to tell the whole world in a public forum exactly when they'll be away from their house. Would not be hard at all to determine based on information in many folks' profile, just where they live. Threads like this make a great tool for a thief looking to make a list of what houses will be empty and ready to be robbed over a holiday weekend.
