Hi all!
Getting a little anxious now, picking up the trailer tomorrow.
Now here is the question: can I travel with the fridge on? I think it's a two way fridge (120V / gas), so I assume if I would have it running, it would be on gas.
Is that ok? What do you guys do?

I usually roll with the gas/fridge on. It keeps me from having to haul so much ice and so many conventional coolers. That stuff weighs a lot!

Hi,
How exciting!
I am lucky enough to have a good battery bank--so I often run my fridge on the inverter.

This particular subject isn't all that easy to find, and there are literally thousands of posts on it. I guess I'd start with 'refer' or 'LP' or 'gas' in the subject line.
The main reason search doesn't work for most people is the default is 'exact phrase', which is tough to find.
Thanks!

I think I must have had a typo in my first search attempt. But yes, the search function here is not the easiest to use.
It would be nice to have a "mods" section, and maybe a little "how to", "DIY" and "FAQ" sections as well.
What I have seen in other forums is a sticky post at the top, like for example "FAQ's". When you click on it, there is just links to other threads. You can then easily search that post with the search function of the browser, or also just browse these sections. Maybe if a mod reads this?

Forum FAQ located in blue bar near top of page.
Do it Yourself forum (DIY) and Mods forum moderated by myself and this Hybrid forums moderator LAdams.
Forum Help and Support also located near the top of the page in the blue section, for any questions on the forum (search how to, signatures, picture posting etc. etc. etc.)
I think that if, instead of putting a word or two into the search box, you will click on the "Advanced Search" link in blue next to it, and then use the various options given there, you will be able to narrow your search very easily and come up with the answers you are looking for.
The forums are big enough that we have most of the bases covered.

If you look at the top of each page you see a link for RVing FAQ's. on the top right you can see a link for Forum Help and Support. a little blow that link is a drop down bo that will have a list of all of the different forum subjects (including DYI and more). Have fun!
