We have a 2011 Allegro Red and we are having some problems. Currently we are in a campground hooked up to 50 amp service. When I try to use the convection oven, it will heat a few minutes and then throw the circuit breaker which also causes our residential refrigerator to go off as well. I have tried to use it by turning off both air conditioners and it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?
Thanks

do you have any way of checking that the campground voltage is adequate - like a Progressive Industries EMS? If the voltage is too low, the microwave may not run. By the way, is this a new problem at a new location or a new problem at a location where it has worked correctly before?

The convection oven should have its own circuit breaker. It draws too much current (ovening + vent fan + surface light) to share with the refrigerator.
Maybe the fridge or the oven is plugged into the wrong receptacle. Each should have their own.

The Tiffin should have that circuit on a 20 amp breaker. What size breaker is on your unit? If it is a 20 amp, then your Convection is probably bad. Doug

We have camped at this campground before but not in this motorhome. Everything else is working OK. The microwave and the refrigerator are not plugged into the same outlet. When I look at the circuit breaker panel, it has one marked for the microwave. The circuit breaker next to it also goes off and it is labeled GFI Neither my husband nor myself are mechanically inclined so apprecaite all help.
Thanks

Yes the microwave/convection has been working just fine. We bought this mh in Oct and lived in it 6 months after that. Everything else in the MH is working in the campground where we are. We have friends coming here today, I am going to try their convection to see if it does the same thing.
Thanks for the information

See if you can find other things that die when that breaker trips. If they are things that are on the breaker may be overloaded and moving some load to another breaker might work. I had to do that with out coach because the oven ran through the inverter and it only had 15a breakers.

I do have several questions many of have been hinted at. First WHICH breaker is giving you the click of darkness.. the parks breaker on the post? Main in your breaker box or the branch breaker that feeds the unit?
The 'fridge" should not be on the same branch
Next: Get a low-cost digital volt meter, I like the Kill-a-watt. (Which is many meters, voltage and frequency included) plug it into first an outlet that is NOT powered by an inverter (Assuming you have one, (outlet so powered or inverter, either assumpiton works) Measure the voltages as you fire up the oven.
Second.. Find the plug for the oven.. Replace the plug with the kill-a-watt and plug the oven into it. (Assuming the plug will fit, 20 amp plugs will not fit in a Kill-a-watt) and measure it's current draw on the AMPS button.
You may need a couple of short extension cords to pull that one off, or a contortionist. one or or the other.
