I recommend the Hover Nano Lite about $59 at Wallyworld. 3 long hair full size Collies.

I have the Shark Navigator and love it! with 4 animals in our full time rig, its one of the best I've found. Its lightweight and small enough to fit in the closet but really takes care of the pet hair. Our neighbors just got one on my recommendation and they found it at Walmart.

I agree. We have 4 animals and bought the Shark Navigator online on sale for $49. It beats the heck out of DWs Kirby that paints a house and shampoo's carpet and etc etc etc.

DD wanted a new vac for the house because the central vac was to complicated for her. I bought a Shark I think its the Navigator and it works great according to her. Her dog, her dog hair...

I bought over 4 of the small vacuums all of them have been a giant waste of $$$$$, and none of them have enough power to really clean up all what gets brought in a MH let alone having dogs too. I threw them all out. Unless you buy the giant home size one for the power, and where the heck are we going to store one of those!

Last year I bought one of those small Shop Vac's called the Hang Up Mini and 2 rigid shop vac handle extensions. Best vacuum I have ever used. Small for storage in a MH, 10X more power than any of those small vacs and can also be used for wet application. IMHO one of THE best things I have bought for the MH.$30 at Walmart and always goes on sale for $20.00 at hardware stores!

+1

We finally picked up Dyson DC26 "City" cannister vac. If fits in the storage area under our queen bed. It's got a nice selection of tools perfect for doing the blinds, fascia's, stairs, carpets, hardwood flooring, etc... Narrow carpet head gets into tight spaces around the bed and stairs. Easy to empty. Easy to remove the beater bar to clean off all that spun on Samoyed Fur.

Make sure to shop around...we found that most retailers have the same price...but Bed, Bath, and Beyond have 20% off coupons... you can get one instantly by signing up for email notices on their website.

We're so impressed...we're starting to look into replacing our Eureka Petlover and Bissell Helix....with a big dyson upgrigh. Both are time consuming when removing fur from the beater bar.

I have the Dyson hand held battery one which really picks up the hair great but also wanted one that would not need to be charged(my Shark vac recently died) I found the Eureka Optima bag less at Lowe's $69 so far it works almost as well as my house Dyson and the adjustable handle lets it fit in the bedroom closet. We travel with 5 cats and a long haired Aussie Shepherd
