After several years of dreaming, reading and looking I bought a '03 Pleasure Way Excel MP3!! I am very excited, my husband and friends are looking rather surprised that I actually did this after all my talking. I think they believe I'm having a late life crisis. In spite of all my reading I feel totally intimidated by all the things I need to learn. I will take it a bit at a time, I do feel comfortable driving it. The only disappointment was the second day I had it the cab A/C started blowing not so cool air. I'm hoping it just needs freon. It does have a 30 day warranty on parts and labor.
I bought it at Van City because of the many recommendations I've read. The van was just as they described, very gently used (actually it looks new inside and out) and I feel they gave me a fair price. I thank you all for your many post to this forum that helped me make my decision. I was torn between a Pleasure Way and a Roadtrek but the PW was the one I found. I really like the enclosed bathroom.

Congratulations! Yes, I've heard great things about Van City and have friends who went all the way to MO from the west coast to buy their B.

Congratulations! We bought ours used just over a year ago and have been enjoying it a lot. Other than long (couple of weeks type) trips, we made many weekend or even day trips to the beach and such. If you enjoy this type of lifestyle, you won't regret the buy. PW is a very well constructed vehicle and we are very pleased with the purchase.

Congratulations!!! Welcome to the world of "B"s. I bought my 2003 PW Excel TD a few years ago and have never regretted it. Like Sukiesmom, I use it for extended trips, weekend trips, and day trips to the beach.
Good for you! Enjoy your travels and, see ya down the road!

Escargot, Hey, noticed that we both live in California where beaches are available and useable throughout the year

My AC did the same thing and it was only a loose valve, so maybe you will be so lucky.

Congrats on your PW... We, too, have a PW Excel, but the TS (2003.) We have owned it for over 2 years now and we have really enjoyed it. It is very well constructed and the fit and finish is great. We mainly use ours for day-tripping, but want to take a 2-3 day trip in it, just for fun. We full-time in a Class A, but use the B far more!

Congratulations! You are going to love it!
We love our B. It's the best thing we ever did.

I'm glad you did your homework. Take your time with it. Go on a short overnight trip (even in your yard) to get a good feel for it. You've inspired me now that I'm going out to my RT and start the Genny and AC now and relax!.

If you can post a photo, that would be grand!
Give it a good wash, wax and take that photo! We wanna see it!!!

Here it is. They washed and waxed it for me before I picked it up. It looks almost new inside and out. The shower was never used as the plastic curtain for the little window is still in the package and the stove also looks unused. I plan to take it to the lake for an overnight & my brother promised to bring his boat whenever we hit a weekend when the heat index isn't 110.
