Just a note that I understand that Lippert is going to be coming out with an all electric auto level system in a few weeks. It will be a 4 point system, one button leveling, wireless remote with a price around $3K.

Sounds EXACTLY like the Rieco Ground Control system, right down to the price.
Not sure, I heard it was an auto level system which the Rieco is not. They already own Happijac so it could be built off of that. Will have to wait and see what it is.

they can't hold a candle to the Bigfoot

Could you elaborate a little? In what way? My Rieco Titan lifts and stabilizes as well as any Bigfoot system that I have seen. I guess the Bigfoot may be be a few seconds faster but for several thousand dollars cheaper I can give up a few seconds and the end result is the same.
I do have a few questions about the Bigfoot system or any hydraulic system. What happens if you blow a hydraulic line or pump? Does the unit just fall or are the legs locked in place somehow? In the same scenario is there a back-up method for extending the legs to get hitched up? Are you stuck until repairs are made? I am not criticizing any system but am just curious how they handle it.

we had the new model Bigfoot leveling system installed on our 5er last August .... it has the remote which really works well .... we did have an issue surface shortly after the install, one call to Bigfoot and it was taken care of quickly and without any expense to us .... since then I have seen several factory installed Atwood leveling systems in action and they can't hold a candle to the Bigfoot .... if/when we purchase another 5er, even if its manufacture offered another OEM (cheaper)leveling system, adding Bigfoot system would be one of our first mods

Another vote for the Rieco Titan. I just installed it two weeks ago and am on my first trip with it. It works exactly as advertised. I am very pleased. It took me about six or seven hours split over three days to finish the install but I am 65 years old and had no helper. For those who have JT Strongarms or similar stabilizers they fit perfectly with the Rieco Titan system. Since the rear stabilizers remain on, it gives 6 points of ground contact. Although I haven't decided if the rear stabilizers are needed any more as the rear jacks angle out 2 degrees which reduces side to side sway. Another advantage is the ability to lift all four tires off of the ground for maintenance although I must admit that it looked pretty weird to me the first time I did it.

I learned that the code was:

FAST

CHEAP

GOOD

Pick any TWO. If it is fast and cheap it won't be good. If it is cheap and good it won't be fast. If it is fast and good it won't be cheap.

Is it safe to assume the Rieco Titan Front Jacks will lift the front of the trailer just as much as the stock (Lippert?) electric jacks?
My current jacks have one motor and a square tube to drive both jacks the same.
Thanks!
