I would argue that to get the highest price you should sell it yourself. If you (or the RV) is not on a major thoroughfare then this is a little harder. You'll have to do more work in advertising, etc. Many people will expect to haggle more with a private seller than if they were buying it from a dealer's lot. It gets you the highest price, but it is the most work.
One strategy that I've seen work is to book a seasonal site at a popular campground with a good turnover of travelers and set your rig there with a big for sale sign. It is best if you are there to answer questions and show but if not you can leave contact info. Always leave either photos that can be seen or a curtain or two open so prospective buyers can take a peek. With this model you don't usually get an immediate sale, but almost everyone who sees it is at least casually thinking about their next RV purchase. As such, you'll often get called days or even weeks after someone viewed it.

Sold ours on "used Victoria" it's like craigslist. It was only on for an hour when we had the first call, the people were at our house within the hour and bought it. We had another offer as well.

Sold ours though RVTrader a few years ago, cost was around 150 for unlimited time run (print and web), but only took around 30 days to sell. Also listed on craigslist but had no takers there.

We put it on a $15 dollar a week lot on a street in Yuma, AZ. that has a high volume of traffic. 24 hours later, it had a new owner. Also if you private sell which is the only way I'd go, level the unit. Don't make me fall in or out of the door to see it. Likewise, don't make me run from front to rear or viceversa because it is low or high front to rear.

Craigslist in 1 week....used good pictures and listed at a fair price. Only downside was that they wanted my tow vehicle also. Sold both for listed price.

Word of mouth, and a sign on it…
Last one I sold, I included a one year warranty contract on it and got the full asking price at a time when sales were pretty slow…

We sold both a pop-up and a pickup camper on Craigs list within a week of listing. We listed both for $500 more than our bottom line. Posted good pictures and honest discriptions - the pop-up was 8 years old and had seen quite a bit of use. We bought a Class C that was listed on Craigs list as well as the Yahoo owners group.
