Does anyone have tips on gun security in thier Truck or TC?
What safes are there for handguns or Rifles?
Where to hide? I assume you place ammo in different location?

That's pretty sweet!
You must be talking hunting else why have ammo separate?
Closest to where you are at in the day and then closest to sleeping quarters at night is our motto.
Easy to get to.

Well, we've had a thread where we tell all the bad guys where we keep the money and valuables... Let's have another one where we tell them that we keep guns in our campers!

...and the reason why I need a DRW to haul a Palomino:

I can't imagine telling people "if" you have a weapon,,, let alone posting it on an open forum with directions on where it is hidden.
I'm surprised that someone would ask
... unless that person had a motive,,, like knowing where to search for weapons in a traffic stop ...
... or to steal them when you are away from your vehicle/camper...
... or if it will be easy to rob you
The question is inappropreate
I hope no one blindly answers
let others assume that you are armed...
be safe

If you have personal defense weapons, the central issue is availability for use. The need may arise in a matter of seconds. If the weapon is locked or squirreled away someplace you are unarmed. There is no point in having a tool if you can't get to it or don't know how to use it in an emergency situation.

We're been traveling with fire arms for years. Long guns go in a lockable carrying case in the bay, pistols have trigger locks in a secure cabinet, and ammo is always stored in a lock box away from any of the other fire arms usually in another bay.
If you carry a loaded weapon you would be smart to have a CCW and no where near the drivers area.
