Buying a 6000# TT and wondering what is the size jack we should buy.

Also need suggestions as what to buy and from whom. We will need it asap. Know Barker is a very good jack but we don't need one to last 20 years but don't want to buy one every year.

Remember the jack needs to be able to lift the back of your tow vehicle when installing your WD system. I would get the 3500. Good luck.

Barker 3500, end of conversation. Does not matter how long you plan to keep the trailer. Sell the trailer and put the jack on your local craigslist, get your money back! Shop price..........

I have non Barker jacks in the family and everyone wants mine!

Do not buy from Rv dealer, go online and search. No camping world!

I have a Barker 2500 (got a great deal) and it lifts the whole back of my truck sometimes when the hitch is a bit stuck. It never even slows down and my TT is about 8K with a tongue weight of about 1100 lbs. I've had it for 7 years.

Our TT came with an Atwood 2500 and it really struggled to lift the TV & TT to get the bars in place. I bought an Ultra-fab 3500 and it was OK except I could not lower the tailgate. I went back to a 3500 Atwood and am very pleased with its performance.

I have a Atwood sitting in my gar. Was OK for my 6000-lb unit, but NG on my newer bigger, heaver TT, had to get a 3500 to do the lifting. Sug. why not buy a 3500, may need it someday.
