What kind of clamps does everybody use to clamp the covers to the rain gutter?
Good topic, OP, I ordered my survival blankets from Cabelas, but I am still a bit puzzled about the attachment, especially at the top section you are asking about.
I use one that looks just like the one in the link below. I either got them at Walmart or Home depot

I find it kind of interesting, I didn't get the high wind version and since it doesn't have the top elastic bungee thing it stays up higher than yours just from the clamps on the sides.
For clamps, I have some of the ones left from PopUp Gizmos but some of them broke right away. I have found that the medium size to large binder clips work really well.

Fire Instructor wrote: Picked up a handful of extra clamps at the local Home Depot so that I had a clamb every 8-10" along the top rain gutter. Put them up there by standing on the propane tanks, before opening the bed, then held the PUG up with a broom while opening down the bed.
I think that is an excellent idea -- to attach it to the RV before opening the bunk ends. Not only access to the drain is better but it is easier to get it over the bunk end especially if putting it up by yourself.

Thanks for all the feed back.
I'm going to try attaching it to the gutter, gently though so I don't break it. Or if it's to much of a pain I'll just leave it loose and sliding down. I doubt my husband will be ok with my putting in the o rings right away. He will want to see what difference the PUPS make before we make a permanent fix.

I bought the binder clips when I had my space blanket. Evertime we had a high wind it popped them off. The tarp clamps stay put.

I just use the clamps that came with mine. So far, they've been fine.

The tarp clamps you used has a hole at the other end -- how did you attach that end to the RV?

Exactly what I am wondering .... or do you just use these tarp clamps in the same way you would binder clips, meaning that they "grab" the blanket and gutter between their "claws"?

I use some of these.. Can be a pain to screw on but they HOLD!! I didn't buy them from Amazon -- maybe Home Depot?? I also use the metal ones with red tips AND some of the black tarp clips from Walmart!!
I attach my reflectix to the rain gutters on top also. Yes it's a pain as I only have a 3-step stool so I can only get about 18" in on each side but that seems to be sufficient.
