Just the fact that the WeberQ can and does sear and grill meat with sizzling grill marks would be enough in my opinion.
But the other stuff...such as heavy cast aluminum body, heavy cast iron grill, all heavy high quality stainless steel burners add to make this a really supurb grill.
But the icing on the cake is the fact that Weber builds and manufacturers these things right here in the USA! And they show confidence by giving a 5 year warranty on the aluminum body and 2 years on everything else. It's NOT a cheap Chinese grill that miht last a year or two. And it's not a disposable grill either. It's made to last. And you can get a hose and adapter for large propane tank use.
We have one smaller WeberQ 200 for the road and a big daddy 300 WeberQ for home!
My posts shouldn't be taken for factual data. They are purely fictional, for entertainment purposes and should not be constituted as actually related to scientific, technical, engineering, legal, spiritual or practical advice. Amen.

My husband nearly had a fit when he found out how much I spent on our Weber Q120 for the new RV ..... UNTIL he cooked on it the first time! He couldn't believe how amazing it was and what a difference compared to the cheap Sears grill we have at home (that HE bought! LOL). It's also SO easy to keep clean! We just love it! Thanks to everyone who recommends them on this board!

I like and use the large Weber Q. But, with the round lid it does not store very efficiently in a basement compartment.
I'm looking for a portable stainless steel grill that is square in shape with a flat top lid.

I am also searching for a new gas grill to take camping. We currently have the Coleman Road Trip and I can say that it sucks. Its only a year old and it takes forever to melt cheese. Seriously, I made quesadillas earlier in the week and with the temp set on high it took about 15-20 minutes just to melt the cheese inside. Can't wait to find another. Also had a grill to go...it did well until a tornado a few years ago took it to OZ. Thanks for the help

For Tom N.............. check out the latest Camping World flyer, mine came yesterday, they have one listed US$199., plus it has the rail mount for the side of the RV or can be used as a table topper. Or there is a Holland, but have heard that they are slow cookers, can't get up the heat for a fast searing of steaks.

I have used a Weber Go Anywhere grill for the last 6 years and it works just fine. It is light weight and folds up pretty compact too. Perfect for smaller RVs.
