I've had my HTT for 6 1/2 seasons but with my DHs golf game and the DSs summer jobs, we have been out for 2 nights so far this year and no other potential trips in the future. I need a new roof on my house - something as to go, and sadly it is my beloved trailer. This past week with such hot humid weather, while the DH blasted the window AC inside, I slept in tented fresh air comfort - my last camping trip. ;o(
So my question to you all, I have this huge ball mount for my TV and the stabilizer bars to hook to the trailer - do I sell all that too? I will probably be getting rid of my TV for something smaller and if we ever trailer again, it will be smaller and lighter.

I have to say "Thanks" too, to all of you. I have learned so much and been able to share a bit, over all the years.

Ohhh that's terribly sad!!! Hopefully in a few years life will calm down and you can get back into the camping life.

Sorry to see you go but, I understand your reasons.
I would sell everything, no point keeping it around 'just in case.'
In a few years you may get back into RVing and decide to buy a 5th wheel or a Class A, B or C.

sorry to hear that.

are you asking about the WDH, when you mention the "ball mount and stabilizer bars"?

if so, you may want to keep it, with the hope of maybe renting a trailer or getting something in the future.
or you can use it as a "sweetener", when you sell the HTT.

So sad to hear your story. Almost brought tears. I guess I would say sell it all. I do hope in the future that you get the opportunity to camp again.

So sorry to hear your story. I'd say, part with it all, in time, only your fond memories will remain, and having the spare parts around to trip over will just lengthen the pain. Besides, when you get back into it again, you'll want all new anyway.

thanks for all your kind words. I will ditch the WDH now too. If we ever get into it again, it will just be for me and the DH so we'd probably downsize. My theory is if I buy again, I will try not to spend anymore than I get for this one, otherwise I'll feel I should have just kept the darn thing.
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
