Hi, Folks
I'm pretty new here and just figured out that this part of the site is for "Small" trailers.
I'm a member at a site that's pretty much molded fiberglass only, and they sort of run people off if their trailer doesn't "fit in".
This site is s-o-o-o-o much friendlier!
I don't know much about trailers other than my own- what constitutes a "small" trailer, anyway?
And how about some pictures of what you have, and a few words about why you like it?
Here's my trailer, by the way.
It's a 1978 Trillium 4500.
I bought it because it was cheap, and because my 4-cyl. Kia can tow it!
Thanks
Francesca

Your egg is more durable than my little tin box -- but we love it anyway. If you want more info, click on the link in my signature -- I could go on and on (and often do).

I used to have a Trailmanor model 2619 that towed like a 19 footer but set up like a 26 footer.

I have a web page linking manufacturers & blogs of people towing "Fiberglass Eggs". I have an Escape 17B & tow with a RAV4 (V6 & Tow Package).

As to how I like it - you will just have to read my travel blog linked below! The short answer is I love it - fits just about anywhere.

Last weekend we borrowed our neighbours Combi Camper. We were off to a family reunion and took it along for one of our sons. Towed it out behind our MH, biggest issue was I didn't even know it was back there. Norwegian Design and very very slick, setup took all of maybe a minute, no setting up poles or anything just flip the lid over and your almost done. Got a whole lot of attention from everyone there and all really liked it. I will try to get some pics and put them up. They also have an add-a-room for it which is bigger than the trailer.
BIL has a Boler and we were thinking of taking it and fixing it up for him. Will see, next weekend we will be up there so will have a look at it.

I consider a camper "small" if it has a box length under 20 feet. Our Tracer has a box length of 19.5 feet, so I think it qualifies. It only weighs around 3400 pounds (dry).

(My opinion)
The smaller the RV, the more you use it plus is easier to sell.

This is great!
These are some sweet looking setups. Thanks, everybody.
I wouldn't have guessed, Beth, that yours could be that lightweight! It looks so roomy.
And, hey, Jon-with-the-Escape:
I'm hauling your trailer's grandma!
Escapes are based on the original Trillium molds, as you probably already know...your 17 is a stretched version of my Trillium 4500!

R-Pod 177 at 2300 dry seems HUGE after five years of camping in a 4x8 teardrop.
