Yes, several rpod models have a slide. When we first saw one at an RV show (wife's first time in an RV) we were amazed at the amount of living space it adds.

Am I reading the specs right on that Skyline Retro, Smokedummy?
Is it only 2600 lbs dry?

Actually, they stamp the dry weight on each unit, and mine says 2170 lbs. I think loaded weight is allowed to be around 2800.

Amazingly light for what you're getting in terms of space.
That's much lighter than comparably sized fiberglass units I'm reading about at the other site I mentioned in my first post.
I keep hearing folks go on and on over there about fiberglass being the lightest thing on the road!
What an eye opener this is turning out to be...
