Seriously considering a new Roamer 316RLS by Open Range (upgrade from current Passport Ultra Light 280 BH). Before taking the plunge, would appreciate any comments regarding build quality, features, things to watch out for, etc.

They are a top end unit! If you find one you like have at it you wont be disappointed. I am currently saving the cash for my 5er

Hey I could be wrong, but grab a chair and a cold one and we'll talk about it for a spell

We've had our Open Range Roamer 303BHS for about a year and a half - but we've had so many in-laws come in over the summer we've sadly not had it out much. We love the floorplan of the 303BHS - and overall we're really happy with our Open Range. Search on my previous posts and you'll find quite a few comments and reviews from previous trips and experiences with the unit. Highly recommend the unit - watch out for carpet in the living room getting pinched at or under the kitchen cabinet. And the kitchen plumbing is a bit light-duty. Other than that - very happy.

Picked up our 2012 Open Range Roamer RLS 316 Travel Trailer on June 13th and have used it for 7 days, 17 days and now a full month. Well built and no problems. We did order the dual pane windows, couch/airbed, upgraded wall recliners and upgraded pretty wheels. We noticed a piece of trim missing below a cabinet in the bathroom. Called Open Range and they couriered it to us right away. So far we are very happy. Tows flat with no sway. Go for it.
