The following is a rant... This is addressed to the Alberta Plated Cardinal Fiver towed by a maroon Ford on Hwy 2 heading East between 1 and 2 pm on Sunday Aug 7. First off your mirrors are seriously out of adjustment. It was obvious because you were unable to see the line of 20 (yes that is 20) vehicles backed up behind you.

Also there is something wrong with your accelerator pedal. Everytime a passing lane came up it was sticking wide open and accelerating your rig to 75 mph forcing vehicles to speed to 90 just to get by AND only allowing 1-2 vehicle by when all 20 could have easily passed. Amazingly the second that passing lane was gone your accelerator slowed the rig back down to 45-50 mph.

When you drop the truck off at the shop to fix the mirrors and accelerator pedal you might also have them look at your steering linkage. It seemed that you were unable to pull into the dozen or so huge pullouts conveniently dispersed along the two lane highway. Maybe your brakes aren't working and that was the cause but either way ask the dealer to check it out for you!

rant over...

The problem is that someone that drives like the above does not frequent a forum like this. I am preaching to the choir but I had to get it off my chest. We witnessed two vehicles almost go head on with oncoming traffic while trying to pass the lovely vehicle above. It takes a few seconds to pull out of the way. I do it all the time. It reduces stress, allows traffic to flow freely, and makes everyone's day a bit nicer.

No doubt, where is the like button? This is why the remiander of us RV'ers get cut off at intersections becuase folks don't want to be behind us fearing they'll be like the person mentioned above....

Get you a MH so that can not happen.

I agree not everyone takes a lot of pride in RV ownership but their home may look the same.

I don't think it reflects on anyone but the idiot driving the rig at the time. It DOESN'T say anything GOOD about him/her though. Of course the odds of them ever reading your rant is about 1,000 to 1 but maybe you'll get lucky
