We got the 30 amp service changed to a 50 amp and added a second AC, it was done professionally so there should be no issues with it.

Its simple people as you know or I hope you know the 50 amp service is 220V slit 110 and 110 is all.. That being said the new 50amp cord is going to have two 110 hots 1 neutral and a ground... Just send one of the 110 and neutral to the old 30 box just like the 30 was wired and if you want pull the 30 main out and put a 25 in but I wouldnt even change it thats up to you, and the remaining 110 and the same neural to a new box rite next to the old box with a nother 25 main and new breakers for what you want to ad... What I would do is pull the microwave out of the old box and put it in the new along with the 2nd ac..... Its as easy as that just remember you have to slit the neutral and the ground ...

Just curious if you breaker panel mains are a 30A and 20A or two 50A?

Mile High, 50a service has two 50 amp breakers. Or maybe you know that and are curious on just what got done.

Black Pearl, The only difficult part is pulling the 50 amp wire from the new inlet cord to the panel. If that part is possible the rest is a slam dunk. Tedious yes, difficult no.

Ya I was just curious. Our 2003 Montana had a 50A cord, but was actually a 30A service with a dedicated 20A breaker on the other leg that fed the 2nd AC. Took me a couple of years to find out the newer ones had a true 50A service with two 50 amp breakers.

I was having a problem with the electrical in the trailer so when the manufacturer was reviewing the problem the easisest way to solve it was to replace the power management items. I asked them if they could upgrade it to 50 amp and I would pay the difference, since everything was coming out. I am getting the unit back in a few weeks and my cost, if any would not be a good indicator.
