Here is my experience. I live 30 minutes from Jordan Lake. I worked at Ebenezer and New Hope overlook as a seasonal employee.

The seasonal's job is to clean the bathrooms. We had to clean them first thing every morning or at least check them to make sure they were clean.

With the state's budget I don't know if this is still the case. I have not camped at crosswind but have stayed at popular point once and the bathrooms were clean then. I have camped several times at Parker's creek and haven't had any issues with the bathhouses.

I am taking my son next son next week and plan on riding through all of the campgrounds and taking pictures to post on the website in my signature so I will try to check the bathouses out for you.

I really appreciate you checking them out for all of us.

While we were at Poplar Point, the truck came by 2-3 times a day to empty the trash cans, the sites were spotless including the fire rings upon arrival, the folks at the gate were as nice as you could ask for.....so I'm figuring the bath house situation in loop C is an exception rather than the norm.

Take time to be nice to someone today.

Well The state is closing Jordan Lake to camping this weekend starting at 9pm tonight. This means I am not going camping there this weekend and will not be able to take any photos for campground gallery.

Sorry for the delay I finally got out to the lake for some camping. We stayed at Parker's Creek and I put the pictures up in the link below. The bath and shower house were clean when I used them. I didn't get any photos of the inside because there were others in there when I went by.

Crosswinds is closed for the Season and I didn't make it to popular point.

I've stayed at Crosswinds several times. My complaint about the bathrooms is the shower stalls. They are painted cinderblock, concrete floor, and a showere head. That's it. No where to put anything and no mat thing to stand on nor anything to sit on inside the stall. It has always been clean though. I drove over and checked out the sites on the other side of 64 and didn't think that cg was anywhere near as nice as Crosswinds.
