The only issue I have with this solution is my current dinette is a U shaped so I have seats against the wall where the bracket mounts and a window above them. I did see an "alternate" window method but aside from that, there is no alternate method for the bench against the wall.
The original table use two posts about 3" in diameter that go from the floor to the table and both the floor and the table have these conical shaped mounts that accept the poles. This would be fine except for the fact that it's quite wobbly AND most importantly the poles are only about 3" from the edge of the benches making it nearly impossible to scoot across the bench without hitting your knees and/or legs.
Any ideas that don't include removing the bench against the wall? My wife would kill me!
My Jayco has a table setup exactly like that dream dinette(may even be a dream dinette, not sure) and we hate it. The table is so wobbly, stuff is constantly being knocked over. Our last trip the wife told me to do something about it, fortunately I have til spring to research it as the trailer is already put away for the year(camper season). I do remember my camper has a more stable setup but don't remember exactly how it is. I am taking the camper out of storage in a couple of weeks and will check.
96Bounder30E - That is a great idea -especially the fact you can raise or lower the table to fit what you are wanting to do (eat on it or sleep on it haha)
I may have to look into this... Thanks for the link.

A friend of mine didn't like the legs on his RV table either. I'm not sure if he got the new ones made or not, I expect not. This little project cost him one finger and 2 others sewn back on as a result of the table saw. So becareful!! Ron Day
