Check the gap between the ignitor and burner. If the gap is to large you get no spark. Mine vibrated lose and I was getting no spark. tightened it back in place. No more problem.

I checked the price of dinasour boards at the link clicky I posted on page one, $80 to $85, no tax. Any RV Parts. Sounds like you need a new one. When I was having problems with mine this past fall I had the original board checked at a RV repair shop, it was okay and the check was free. If you want (just joking here) I know where you can buy the tester. It would guarentee that you would never have a problem again.

silly question the gap between the ignitor and burner is that one of the below this

. CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE MAIN BURNER TO THE ORIFICE. Position the main burner tube (A) so that the gas coming out of the orifice (B) is going straight down the middle of the burner tube. If the alignment is off, the gas will bounce down the tube which will alter the gas flow once it reaches the spark. Manually shift the valve (C) with your hands to achieve this alignment.

?4. CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE FLAME SPREADER ON THE BURNER TUBE.
A At the end of the burner tube there is a dime-shaped deflector
????1/4 open
disk. This disk spreads the flame out for proper heat distribution. Align the flame spreader (A) so that it is parallel to the end of the tube and positioned in the center of the end of the tube. If the flame spreader is out of position, it could divert the gas away from the spark and cause intermittent ignition.

Hi I replaced the spark probe and get a small orange light on the board sometimes when I try to remote start. Am i correct if the board was blown then all functionality would be lost . The weird thing is the Atwood does turn itself off when temperature in the tank is reached. Has this got anything to do with the board ?

Disconnect and reconnect all wires on the board. Check all fuses on the board. Check that you are getting 12VDC to the board and that the ground is good. The spark gap should be between 2-5mm and make sure the electrode of the spark probe is not grounded somewhere. If all that fails, you are likely in need of a new (or rebuilt) control board.

I really know little about this but I will suggest that the two things you listed are not related to the igniter spacing.

I tend to think it is like a sparkplug. If the gap is two wide, the spark will not jump it. I am not looking at mine but just look and figure where it is to jump to and adjust the gap.

One other suggestion. Be sure everything is clean - vaccum or blow it out. Had a space heater at the camp stop working. Was going to install a new thremocouple. After I had it out, a gas man said the chances were slim that was the problem. I cleaned all in the heater and have had no more problems.

Good luck.
