The bad part is when you are talking to someone and someone else in the house is not paying attention and walks in the background of the cam looking for there clothing. Not everyone should be on camera unprepared.

Last week using Skype on a cable modem connection I managed to read a book to my granddaughter in Botswana (Clifford the Firehouse Dog for those interested) complete with video. Yesterday on a very slow <100K 3G connection we shut off video on both ends & had no problems. I've been using it for years & love it!
