Well this afternoon the service manager called and said that the Jayco was ready for pickup. Told him that is fine but I wanted another walk through. No problem with that of course. Unlike yesterday the fiver was in their normal outgoing barn not outside the shop. All hooked up ready to test. Did a complete check of about everything. All was working and in order, things that were not done before were fixed. Stove cover working correctley the couch frame works as it should. Sealing was corrected etc. Overall a much better situation. The man doing the walk through today said that sales only told them yesterday morning that the pickup was at 2pm that day. They had some issues with Jayco's new remote control for the slides, landing gear, and awning. Did find a few things that were corrected on the spot, and they are ordering everything else (different remote for trailer control, new dinning table as it was splitting) no issues with problems, ready to take care of whatever was not to my satisfaction. Not the first time sales makes promises that service dept is unaware of. Now need to get it out on a shake down trip.

We did the walk thru of our new Puma lastSaturday (after putting our deposit down the prior Saturday). As the service manager was walking us through the trailer, we noticed more and more things that were not done.

Thurned out the guy they had prepping our trailer was fired that week and nobody picked up where he left off (the beginning). Needless to say, we are doing another walk thru tomorrow morning.

Hope to take it home this time....
