Get one of these:Frig Fan.

Best thing I ever bought for the MH.

I was having problems with frost on the fins and maintaining a cold enough temperature when the fins are frosted.

I can't believe the difference this fan made. I have not defrosted since I put it in several weeks ago. I have no frost buildup at all.

I wired it through the wire that keeps the interior light on after you close the door. The third wire on the interior light. The fan is controlled by the switch at the top of the door.

I bought it off EBay and have no relationship with the seller or the manufacturer.

I bought mine off of EBay (based on this forum) also and have no relationship with the seller or the manufacturer. This is what you get when you use one for more then a few weeks in a hot humid area.

You really need a couple of them - see John&Joey's photo. Things in the fridge kept knocking mine loose while traveling. Camping World has some plastic blocks you can install to protect the fans from other stuff in the fridge.

Looks like a couple of computer fans. I have some of these fans that I salvaged from an old computer. Looks like I found a use for them.

I see from the picture that John&Joey is still getting frost. For some reason mine is completely frost free and the temperature has stayed in the mid to high 30's for several weeks with outside temperatures in the high 80's to low 90's with extremely high humidity.

The fan does vibrate if it is touching the fins. I have moved mine away from the fins after trying a piece of cardboard where the bottom touches to dampen the noise.

I was defrosting every 3 weeks out of necessity.

The one thing I'll never understand is why so many RV fridges are way worse in quality and cooling strength than a regular home fridge.

Cuz they're different animals completely. You can get milk out of a cow but not out of a horse.........Dennis

Dennis, have you ever seen a colt eating. They are drinking milk from mama horsey!

When frost starts to build up to the side of our double fan, I just move the fan over for a few days.

Yes, that's what they are.... you can get them here for $7 instead of the $16 on EBAY
