Where is the best place to look for used Tow Dolly's. Specifically I want to find a Tandem Tow Dolly HD. Thanks,

Start with Craigslist and Ebay. You can at least get an idea of what's available and the going prices.

Thanks -- been traveling that ground but with the exception of an old ad there was nothing.

Are you using Search Tempest to search Craigslist? It's easier than doing it city by city.

I had one a couple of months ago that I put on Craigs List and it sold in less than 24 hours.

This must be why I can't find many -- they don't stay on the market long. Mind if I ask why you sold it...really looking for your feedback. I haven't come across anything negative other than the usual hassles associated with tow dolly's in general. Thanks,

As we go into the fall and even early winter you may see more in the ads, people start wondering about storing them for another winter if they didn't use it the past season. Their expectations on price drop too and they just want it gone.

We bought our dolly last Nov for $600 off craigslist with surge brakes. Not a tandem like you are looking for but still they were in there from $125-5500! Be patient ant the deal will come.

Thanks. As it turns out we finally found one within a days drive for a great price. It has some rust spots but we will take care of those and use some of the money we saved over new and get it painted to match our MH...and still be way ahead. We probably won't use it a lot since we also have a dingy 4-down setup but having the flexibility to take our motorcycle or UTV with us is great. This is the only thing that makes us miss our Damon Outlaw, having the garage in the back.
