If you're correct, it may simply be an "equivalent" to the RT Simplicity offering (pun intended)
Maybe here is the link.
Cheers.

Given the price point and where it fits...
The Traverse at $60K is $23K less than the $83K Lexor, and lacks flush-toilet (has porta-potty), has a pop-up roof and is based on an E150. Lower trim for everything (e.g. lower fridge, stove doesn't come with cover, no water heater, no shower, no awning...
My guess is that the Basis is a despec'd Lexor... the permanent rather than pop-up headroom, but limited plumbing and no toilet/shower. Hence the "simplified floorplan".
My main reason for getting a Class B was having a flush toilet/wash area. I'm surprised at how many people don't need that. Should be interesting to see the reception.

I own a PW Excel and sometimes they email me about new RVs. They sent me an email about the Basis. It is on the Chevy chassis. They eliminated the little bathroom/shower and just have a toilet in a "closet" with a curtain that draws around it. It has cheaper counter tops and fixtures but looks like a quality vehicle for those of you that want a simple camping van with all the necessary esentials. But the price is around what you might pay for a slightly used PW Excel.

Got the email from Pleasure Way about the new Basis model. Plain white exterior works for me. TV, who needs it? But gotta have a shower.

It sounds like Pleasureway stripped a lot more out of the Basis than Roadtrek stripped out of the Simplicity.

We need that kind of manufacturers in Europe. Back to basic is the keyword, so a lot of people build them their selves. And i say...lots..of them.

Looks like the Basic has a curtain you pull around the toilet, can't see a bathroom sink or a floor drain for a shower. We prefer the enclosed bath, but this scaled down one may works for others. To me a little pricey.

I agree, we prefer the folding doors in the Roadtrek 190 toilet arrangement. Looks like no microwave but they put in a TV. Looks like it lacks a lot of storage that I have in my 2002 Chevy Popular.
