camp Hale is good camping and atving...Colorado is getting worse on atv use...Utah is still a better choice more open land ..although the Tree huggers are at work here too. We see alot of people from Colorado coming to southeast UT to ride, as there areas have been shut down..or there are to many user groups in one area.

Thanks for all your opinions. Going to try Monarch this time. They all look great. First trip for one of our dogs that has never been camping so we will make the first rides short so we don't upset anyone. Should be interesting or destructive..

Make sure and open all the blinds on all your windows. A frustrated dog can play hell on the mini-blinds.
and don't tie the dog to the ATV then forget about him the next time you decide to go riding.

You can ride directly out of Sylvan Lake State Park.
Camp Hale is our favorite, but it is dispersed camping on public land - no amenities (probably why we like it).
