I tow a Honda Fit with a ReadyBrute tow bar and would like to get a Protect-a-Tow.
Is there anyone on here with this combo? How did you put the eyebolts on the Fit?
It all seems to be all closed in under the front bumper.

I also have a Fit w/Ready Brute, you can lift the platic body panels and get to the Eye bolts to install nuts I also used Large Fender washers top and bottom on Eye Bolts. Do you have a Diesel Pusher with a rear exhaust. Contact Protect A Tow they have a picture of a guard for the exhaust pipe. Protect A Tow has very good customer service.

As low as the front of the Fit is, I didn't want the eye bolts hanging any lower. Instead, I cut a rectangle notch in the corner of the fasica near where the eyebolt would have gone (underneath and not visible from above). When attaching the protect-a-tow, I just stretch the elastic cord and put the hooks in the notches. The only disappointment I have with the protect-a-tow is that it still allows rock hits on the outside edges of the Fit's front end.

As Wayne said the front is low as the parking headstones will hit if not carefull. I forgot to tell you there are plastic plugs on the bottom be carefull to pull the center plug out part way then remove the plug. I also used fender washers and nylon locking nuts, to make sure I didn't have to go under the Fit again.
