Getting new tires next week when we go to Oregon, going with the Toyo M154's 245/75/22.5s to replace the Mich. 235/80/22.5s. Are date codes 2911 current enough or should I try to get newer one's?
I was thinking about going to Les Schwab in North Medford on our way to Newport, since they can also do the front end alignment, anyone have any good or bad experience's there, any place else you might suggest instead.

They were made in the 29th week of the year, which is about the third week of july. Hard to get much fresher then that in my opinion.

Never been to the Schwab's store in Medford but The chain has a pretty good reputation around the northwest.

Thats the same exact date on the 6 Michellins I just had installed in WY. Can't get much better than that. Wanna bet we don't have the same RV 7 years from now?

Bet we won't either, if this economy ever turns around and we can sell out anchor(home)I'm sure we'll have something different.

Just be sure to check DOT date on each tire BEFORE mounting to avoid any surprises. I ALMOST got 3 new ones and one old one once, but Discount Tire person caught it before mounting. Great service. They ordered a new forth tire.
