I'm looking forward to using it more as a family hauler and the kids thought the grandson is ready to go with us on a camping trip! Just have to be in the same state at the same time. We're really looking forward to that time when we can take grandkids on trips and see the world again through their eyes.
I agree that the elderly, who have to stop often to potty etc. may need more amenities during travel than a car can provide, like access to food and medicines, etc. So they just give up on taking trips, even just an hour or two to visit their kids. I think that my mom would be more willing to take a trip if driven in an RV than a regular car. No need to gamble on roadside bathrooms and oldsters could be more comfortable in some of the nice lounge chairs people have or put in their RV's than in a car's typical backseat.
I really like this idea. People hauler and camper both. May not be too good for saving gas but makes sense in helping people travel under certain circumstances-extra benefit to owning an RV.
We're hooked!

A medium length motorhome can be handy as a hobby/sport/local event/theme park and day at the park activity support vehicle. They are great for airshows, horse and dog shows, etc. I don't like driving a MH on narrow city streets any more than I have to though, watch those side mirrors and allow for stopping distance in city traffic. If months go by between use of the MH, be extra careful until you get back "in the groove".

We use our for an annual trip to Disneyland. Only 90 miles from home, but we can take alot of people, and we go out to the MH for lunch to save money and relax mid-day, rather than spend a fortune on DL food and try to eat amongst the crowds.

Oh that's funny. Double meaning of First Family! Never even crossed my mind. That's clever. Do you think we should send them the suggestion?

His kids, wife, and even himself might enjoy it better than Martha's Vineyard. Doubtful. He doesn't seem to be the RV type. But then again, neither does Clarence Thomas, and he is an avid RVer.

Gee, imagine running into Clarence and family at the campgrounds! That is a great idea, who would you like to camp next to? Sort of like those questions about who would you like to have dinner with? Oprah?
