Ok. Knock it off.

Sat we are going over Black Butte, Snowman, Dead Horse summits. Then from Boom town over thru Truckee to Sac then south. No snow..

Biggest problem in our part of the world is the early snows have flakes as big a quarters. Always expect to hear them crash when they hit the ground. And they build up like mad.

Now you guys got me to thinking and I will have to go load the chains for the trip.

No snow accumulation at my place, but the Ten Mile Range had white peaks this morning.

When it snows in Michigan we'll hitch up the Kodiak and head to Arizona. Can't leave until Dec 6 so it BETTER NOT snow here before that.

Good luck with that.....really!

I agree with that. Being from the NW and going to east years ago the first thing I noticed was the snow that came for Thanksgiving was there for Easter.

Back in the early 70's my wife and I took the truck camper to Mt. Hood ski park. We had several friends take their rigs up too. There was enough snow to ski but not like we wanted. That evening a bunch of us were out in the parking lot sharing a pot luck. Lots of joking and laughing. It was not going to snow the radios said. Everyone was talking about snow. So my wife said "Well OK I'll do my snow dance. But be ready for what happens." Lots of laughs ect. She did a great snow dance. Next morning we woke up to 3 foot of snow.

To this day when we are with those friends left they still tell my wife "No snow dances."

Snow this morning on the tops of the front range.....but still supposed to be 78-82 this weekend in Denver over the weekend.

Yep... I saw a little more white on the peaks when driving in this morn.

I am now more in-line with your mindset on this, but think I will do the RV AF stuff until I get a compressor.

Drenching rain last night...if it was snow we would have been blowing 12" But in about 2 weeks, we will see the first white stuff of the season. My garden is wrecked, so bring on the snow...the 'shoes are calling

Two days of rain, is a good way to run the tourists out of the Northern Wyoming Rockies!! Bring it on. Sunny, dry and warm for the coming week. :-)

After over 50 days of temps over 100 degrees here in Texas personally I am thrilled that Summer is over!! Still had temps over 100 degrees the past two days but I do believe we are getting a welcoming blizzard of 90 degrees.

Ninety is not bad after a string of 100's. It feels more like eighty.
