Hi all , some have asked for an update after i recieved my coach back from the Springfield Mass set of Extreme Makeover Home Edition . if you read my last post on this subject , you know many thought i was nuts, it was a scam etc.Some wished me luck that it would go like i planned 
So here is the way i saw it .The production went beyound what they told me they would do. They paid for my fuel ( even toped it off today before i left ) put plastic down on the floors, professionally had the interior cleaned before i picked it up today. Paid almost 600.00 in emergency repairs ( which i hadnt asked them too ,the coach wasnt even to them yet, when it broke down ) i recieved their check today from california.
The staff was great , Ty Pennington used the coach as his personal office , place to unwind , watch some tv etc , and yes take cat naps. ( i dont think my niece ever wants us to wash the linens , lol
My son and i got a personal tour today of the home. overall it was pretty neat, being inthe business, would i like to see some things touched up etc, of course. But concidering it was built in a week , it was pretty neat
As i said in my earlier post they even allowed my niece to shadow their production team to see how the real world of show business works. It was an amazing oppertunity for her.
So overall if asked to let them use the coach again , would i ??? yes in aheart beat !

Glad to hear all went even better than expected Dan.
Wish they had taken mine too, as it needs fuel and a good cleaning lol.

Glad it all worked out. I don't think anybody told you that it was a scam. They just warned you like I did to be careful because it could be a scam. But I am glad you are happy. Now if they were to ask me to lend them my coach, it would be a flat NO WAY!
My coach is for me and my wife to enjoy, not for some celebrity that is too cheap to buy his own. They make millions of dollars, so there is no excuse for them to be borrowing somebody else equipment. JMHO!

RayChez, too each is own , yes people told me it was a scam and worse. Bottom line I wasnt using the coach. i know the stars make money the show makes money, but in the end the show helps 13 to 20 deserving families a year. In a few weeks they will be starting 7 homes in 7 days in joplin missouri. All that matters is , we were able to help this family in our own way, and it worked out better than i hoped for. Dan

thanx the dunks , it really was an interesting expieriance . what was even better for me , in this day in age that most people dont even know their neighbors, i saw so many people that didn't know each other, pulling together in the Springfield mass area to help this family and others.
