Have a trip planned next week, eventually ending up in Sedona, Az, but thinking of doing CA88 to US395 South to Lee vining, CA120 East to US6 East to NV264 to NV266 to US95 then South to Kingman. Any comments on this route? Fuel shouldn't be a prob as I can pack almost 60 gals. Pulling a 35' fiver. Thanks.

Your route is ok and doable but I would stay on 6 to 95 through Tonopah a little longer but faster this way. My opinion. Have fun

If you are taking the toys with you and not in a hurry, I would take 167/359 to Hawthorne and 95 south to Mina. Lots of riding

Thanks Jim, that's what I was wondering about, the 264/266 route, looks like a climb over Lida Summit.

That would be interesting, but, not taking them this time. Just a big get-together in Sedona, AZ. Walker River is one of our hang-outs, be there in May.
