well, while doing the rebuild on the MH I lost power to fridge, furnace, & outside light. I tracked down the problem and it was a wire inder the bed were 3 were wire nutteed together, one of the wired was barley hanging on so I put them back together and all 3 had power again. With all this said I find my fridge in perfect working order. Looks like all this time there wanst enough power getting to it. I lucked out this time.

GOOD ON YOU!
That is great news!
Lots of time, if we can just be observant, we can see simple things causing complex problems and correct them.

That's the best kind of repair. You fixed it yourself, and it didn't even require buying a part.
We're not here for a long time, let's have a good time.

Congrats! Just read about your fix. Our new fridge cost around $1500 installed. I will not operate the new one for long periods, off-level,in the driveway, anymore.

I cannot help with your question but, as some suggested,I turn mine on at least a day before loading and departing. I will note that mine seems to cool down faster on gas than electric.
